Hollow Lantern
★★★★★ 4.5
Hollow Lantern is a quiet, atmospheric adventure. You explore ruined places carrying a lantern that's slowly running low, and the light itself is a resource you manage while you solve environmental puzzles and piece together what happened here.
The controls are a simple virtual stick plus a context button, and they stay out of the way. What carries the game is mood — the sound design and lighting do a lot of heavy lifting, and there were a few moments that genuinely got under my skin.
It's not a long game, but it's paced well and never overstays its welcome. Battery use is moderate. I'd play it with headphones in a dim room to get the most out of it.
